Spot Satellite Messenger on Board "Unicorn" for the Fremantle to Geraldton Yacht Race.
WA’s Redink Homes Geraldton Ocean Classic is set to field one of its biggest fleets ever with more than 30 yachts looking to take part in this year’s 40th Anniversary Race. The race, organized by the South of Perth Yacht Club and the Geraldton Yacht Club, has also secured a new long term sponsor with leading WA building company Redink Homes getting behind the event.
A number of the yachts in this year’s anniversary race will use it as a "shakedown" for the Sydney to Hobart. At around 200nm each way, the Geraldton is a recognized as a testing qualifying event for the Sydney Hobart.
